Denplan Essentials is an easy budgeting plan that covers you for the foundations of your dental care, helping to stop problems before they start and is easy to set up immediately. This plan covers you for your regular check-ups and also include a scale and polish or hygienist appointment. Your plan will also include worldwide dental injury and dental emergency cover (Denplan Supplementary Insurance).
Joining The Plan
First you must attend a New Patient Oral Health Consultation with one of our dentists and completed any dental treatment that you might need. You can then sign up to the plan that meets your individual needs. The application form can be obtained from the reception or you may apply for membership plan online using our website.
The benefits included in the plan will take effect following successful collection of monthly direct debit payments corresponding the terms of your chosen membership plan.
What does it include?
When you join our payment plan you receive the following benefits:
- Two Dental check-ups per year
- Two Dental hygiene visits per year
- Preventive dental advice and therapy
- Up to 10% off any other treatment fees
- no emergency call out fee at this practice
- Worldwide dental injury and dental emergency cover (Denplan Supplementary Insurance)*
Emergency dental treatment in the UK: Temporary emergency dental treatment in the UK when you are more than 40 miles away from your dental practice – up to £450 per incident. Maximum amount payable £900 per claiming year (individual benefit limits apply)
Worldwide dental injury up to individual limits shown in section 2 schedule of benefits in the policy document
Temporary emergency dental treatment when overseas – up to £470 per incident, maximum amount payable £940 per claiming year (individual benefit limits apply)
Consultation for dental emergency or dental injury – pays up to £205 towards the cost of opening the dental practice (the insured person is responsible for the first £20 of the claim)
Up to £60 per telephone call for an out of hours consultation
Up to £62 for each night you stay in hospital under the care of a Maxillofacial Consultant for dental treatment
Up to £12,000 for treatment towards one course of mouth cancer treatment
